App information and terms
TravelMedID is a personal record and emergency-sharing tool. Keep entries current and share only information you are entitled to use. Essential medical-card features do not require a wallet, a purchase or an insurance policy.
Medical limitations
TravelMedID is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Medical entries are self-reported; translations, phrases and verification banners do not establish medical accuracy. The app does not monitor emergencies or contact emergency services automatically. In an emergency, call local emergency services.
Emergency availability
Emergency access depends on your choices, device settings, battery and operating system. Test it on your phone and keep an alternative emergency contact method. After restarting, first unlock your phone to make protected storage available. A saved or printed QR continues to show the information encoded when it was created.
Wallet responsibility
Wallet use is optional and involves real XRP. Review the network, receiving address, amount, destination tag and fee before signing. Transfers are generally irreversible and account reserves may limit spendable funds. Save your recovery seed privately. TravelMedID cannot reverse a transaction, restore a lost key or recover funds. A gold banner means the current card fingerprint matches a successful validated XRPL anchor; it is not an NFT, identity check, medical certification or insurance approval. Changing card information requires a new matching anchor to regain verification.
External purchases and support
MoonPay handles XRP purchases subject to its availability, identity checks, fees and terms. Allianz handles insurance quotes, eligibility, purchase and policy terms. A quote or outbound link does not activate insurance. For app support or privacy questions, contact traveler@travelmedid.com.
